South Bend Callmac Fly Bug
The South Bend Callmac Fly Bug was a series model number 860. The South Bend Bait Company of South Bend Indiana made this Antique Fly Rod Lure was made for over two decades. The lure was first produced beginning in 1921 and ending in or around 1942, you’ll note that this is very similar to when Heddon released the Wilder Dilg Fly rod lure.

This antique fly lure was available in 2 different lure sizes and were always well adorned or tied with bright colorful feathers and hair. The Callmac Fly was available in 32 different wing and body colors. This winged beauty came housed in various boxes and cards over the cataloged life span of this very popular South Bend Fly. Its a favorite among collectors, and can provide for a lifetime collection given its possible variations to find.
