Heddon Dummy Double Lure

The Heddon Dummy Double Lure is a antique lure collector favorite. This classic vintage fishing lure designed by James Heddon of Dowagiac Michigan is a model 1500. This clean and nice condition 3″ wooden lure was first introduced in 1913 and made into the 1920’s. This example has the a typical glass eyes, features marked front and rear props and three of the desirable and easily identifiable dummy double hooks. The Dummy Double can be found with 2 types of hardware, the “Football” Rig hardware, and the L Rig hardware. The L Rig hardware while at a quick glance looks the same as the typical but it is a bit different in shape if you look at it closely, The lure is in a Spotted Color pattern color code 0.
