Wright McGill Flapper Crab Lure

The Wright McGill Flapper Crab Lure in first introduced around 1930. The Flapper Crab antique lure was made by The Wright and McGill Company out of Denver Colorado. The lure was available in a few different sizes. The Flapper Crab fishing lure was made from the traditional molded composition that most all its other life like type series of lures were made. The lure has its line tie on the tail portion of the lure, letting it swim or give a life like action in the water. The lure came with antenna and rubber legs. Due to age and use its hard to find these with the rubber legs fully intact.

The two different Flapper Crab lures shown below in their boxes show 2 of the different sizes available one marked 6 to other 10. The two different galleries also highlight the differences in color or shading of the Crab lure. The Box end flaps also tout its guaranteed to get the big ones.
