This Shore Line Brand Wooden Fishing Line Spool is made of the finest quality Irish linen line was manufactured from 1937 to 1941 by the Cortland Line Company (est. 1915) of Cortland, New York. It was made without the Cortland company name for resale by the retail trade of sporting goods, hardware, and department stores and featured this Art Deco designed rising sun style image on both the front and back side labels.
