Creek Chub Silver Sides
The Creek Chub Silver Sides antique fishing lure was first introduced in 1957. This Classic Creek Chub lure was cataloged until 1961, and was given a model series number 1700. This unmarked dual prop wooden fishing lure, was made for saltwater fishing and the costal angler. The lure resembled the already Creek Chub / Shur Strike Gar minnow in many ways. However, the Silver Sides was made of wood, had pressed eyes and 2 treble hooks to secure its prey. Measuring in at 4 3/4″ in length this torpedo shaped lure weighed in at 7/8 ounces. Not really made in many colors, the antique lure can be found in 5 cataloged color finishes.
