Creek Chub River Scamp Lure
The Creek Chub River Scamp Lure was a model number 4300. This was first introduced in the Creek Chub antique lure catalog in 1934 just after the great depression. The Scamp lure would last for almost 2 decades in the lure line up. The Scamp is similar in looks to the Creek Chub Baby Pike, although the lure is more of a wedge shape. This wooden, glass eyed minnow lure measured in at 2 1/2″ in length. The lure also differed from Pikie’s as it has a single belly weight making it a underwater lure. The lure had a few changes over time and at one point could be bought with a deep diving lip. The lure has two treble hooks the center connected with cup and the rear connected with the screw eye.
