Braidwood Stamp Company Gaylure

The Braidwood Stamp Company Gaylure snippet. Braidwood Stamp Company antique fishing tackle maker, made their home in Perth Amboy, NJ. GAYLURE like so many others in the 1930’s and 40’s is made of plastic, more specifically a product called Caitlin.  The lure itself is in fine unused condition, condition body itself is straight and clean, no chips, cracks, or crazing. The lure doesnt have it but normally there is a trailing feathered hook, and sometimes even a typical Nickle plated spook. It is housed in it original box and label, which is worn and soiled and faint like most all others Ive seen. However the box is correct for the lure and is marked faintly red and white. Truth be told the box is more rare than the just under 3″ in length lure itself.
