Abu Garcia 3000 Antique Fishing Reel

This is a Vintage Garcia Abu 3000 Reeel. This classic made in Sweden Reel is a tougher to find model 3000. This ABU 3000, sold in Europe, was designed with special “plastic” sideplates to make it more resistant to salt water. Its cousin the ABU 4000 had red sideplates and was identical in every respect, except its market was USA. The reel spins evenly and freely with only one sluggish point.
