1994 Bagley Catalog

The 1994 Bagley Catalog was the 40th Anniversary catalog. Its always nice to hear from the top down. Mr Stuart was very hands on and had the pulse of the company, its distributors, employee’s and fisherman always at heart when making decisions for the Bagley Bait Company. As with some many of the catalogs a handy Bagley Master Color chart is included, showing you all the Bagley Lure Colors.

We have some great Bagley Lures in on Consignment, please click below to view.

Bagley Bait Company

A Letter from the President states:

Dear Dealer:<br<

Our new lures for 1994 are the “Hustle Bug”5m, a dynamic bass and walleye lure, and please note the special rigged model for all species of salmon. The ICU3, which is hard on the heels of the ICU4 ?n~ the TKO (Technical Knockout) which is equally at home in fresh or salt water. Check these new items over closely on the ms1de cover. The Small Fry Bass Series 1s back by popular demand, see page 2.Also note that several series are no longer in production. They are: Pop’n B2 and 3; Fat Cat, FC2 and DFC2; Small Fry Shad, 4F2, 4DDF2, 4F3, 4DF3, and SS3 (only the 4DF2 remains in production); Grass Rat, GR2, B Flat 6, Deep Diving Bass N Shad , DD92 (also known as the Deep Diving Shad Snack); Mighty Minnow, MMZ; Bang-O-Lure, D2, D5 and DD5; Balsa B3; Kill’r B3 and the Diving Kill’r B3.On these out of production models, as well as others such as the ET’s, Mama Cats, Smoo’s, etc., call us as we still have limited inventories in stock in assorted colors and we will be glad to help you make a sale.

Our colors are listed by their code, color chart numbers have been eliminated to aid you in ordering.

With each bait series, there is a specification chart and at the bottom of each chart there is a list of standard colors. Within some of the charts there is a column entitled “Additional Color Offerings”. Those colors listed as additional color offerings are also standard, but only for the model shown.A Special color is any non-standard color. ln the past, the minimum order for a special color has been 144. Realizing that 144 is a lot of bait and because of your comments, we have made an effort to lower where possible. In most cases, the minimum has been substantially reduced; however, in a few series, the minimum has actually increased.

Three things need to be understood about these special color orders. The old 144 was an arbitrary number, but these new minimums are not. As a result, the minimum varies by both type of finish and bait series. For example for some bait, the minimum may vary between the number required for a special Dazzl’r Laser Scale5m color and a special painted color. There is also considerable variance in minimums, due to the size of the bait. For example, the minimum for a special order color on a 3″ Bang O Lure will be quite different than a minimum for the same special order color on a 7″ Bang-O-Lure.The second is that we will get your special order to you as soon as possible. Estimate 6-8 weeks for special orders of Dazzi’~ Laser Scale, painted and foiled colors. Estimate 10-12 weeks for chrome colors.

The third is that when we receive your order for a special color, we will start in process the exact number you order, but we will ship and bill you for the number that make it through, which in many cases, will be less than you ordered. For example, if you order, say 60 DB3’s, we will start with 60 DB3’s, but if we end up with only 59, we will ship and bill you for 59 and as far as we are concerned, your special order is complete. There is no back order for the difference.

Beside each lure name you will find a-special color code consisting of four sets of letters and numbers. For example, the code for the Tall Walker, shown .on page 2 is D60-C0-PF60-RN. The 060 means that 60 is the minimum multiple, for a special Dazzl’r Laser Scale. CO means that chrome colors are not offered on the TW4, and PF60 means that 60 is the minimum order, or the minimum multiple, for a special painted or foiled color. The RN means that the bait is not offered with rattles.

The rattle minimum order numbers are the same as the color minimum orders in those lure models in which they are available which are: BB1, BB2, KB2, DKB2, DB3, DB06 and DB08. As an example, see the DB06 on page 4. The rattle minimum order is 120 in a special or standard chrome color and 36 in a special or standard painted color. Remember, there is an additional charge for the rattling models listed here. There is not an additional charge for the rattling models, SL2, TG4, DDTG4 and the TG6.
