This US Line Rainbow Assortment Antique Wooden Fishing Line Spool is Circa 1926. The RAINBOW ASSORTMENT brand two color braided silk casting line was manufactured by the U. S. Line Company (est. 1926) of Westfield, Massachusetts. The RAINBOW ASSORTMENT brand was manufactured in 25 yard spools and packaged one dozen to a box from 1926 through 1941.
