Tight Lines Tuesday Hercules
Tight Lines Tuesday Hercules; This 100+ year old Shakespeare Indian Silk Casting Line branded the HERCULES was introduced in 1909 and produced with this colorful lithographic label for just one year, thus making it one of the most difficult to find and one of the very rarest of Shakespeare’s antique fishing lines in collections today. The graphic image features a school of bass swimming in a circle around the central figure of the famous Indian Chief Red Cloud (1822 -1909) of the Oglala Lakota Sioux tribe of the Dakotas whose image Shakespeare trademarked in 1909.
