Shur Strike Crab Lure
This Shur Strike Crab Lure was first introduced around 1938. This Shur Strike minnow was made by the Creek Chub Bait Company of Garrett Indiana and given a series model, CR. This wooden, antique minnow measures 2 3/4″ in length, and can be found in both Glass & Tack eyes. The lure bears striking similarities to the Heddon Crab Wiggler with it’s own flash and flare.
The lure was produced a rear line tie and the traditional rounded diving lip. This antique lure has trailing feelers/antenna to mimic crawdad series. This antique Shur Strike uses two screw eyes to secure the two treble hooks the lure has. The Lure is painted in a series 18 Color, which is a beautiful Silver Flash, an coincides with the same Silver Flash Creek Chub used. This has always been one of my favorite Shur Strike Lures
