Shakespeare Sportcast 1973D Model FE
Shown is a Shakespeare 1973D Sportcast Model FE, bait casting reel. This vintage bait caster features a direct drive and is a level wind reel. The reel is a narrow spool holds 50 yards of 12 1/2lb test. Made in a green anodized aluminum frame the reel features nylon gears and perforated plastic spool. The Sportcast has carboloy bushings and is a very smooth caster. The reel retrieves steady and balanced and is in very nice shape and comes housed in its correct reel box with wrench.
