Shakespeare Jerkin Lure
The Shakespeare Jerkin Lure was first introduced in 1940. The antique lure is Shakespeare of Kalamazoo Michigan lure model series number 6567. The lure is defiantly try to piggy back or recreate the success of the Creek Chub Darter and Heddon Zara fishing lure. This wooden pressed eye lure is 4″ in length, with a sloping face and notched mouth. The lures line facet featuring tie is just above the mouth opening, of the slope or forehead of the fishing lure.

The antique fishing lure features three treble hooks attached via cup rig. In the late 1940’s the Jerkin was available with a spinner attached to the rear of the fishing lure, almost exactly lie the spinning Darter. You’ll not that which ever manufacture you choose, they all will follow up with a model of their own of any of their competitors successful fishing lures or ideas. The lure was made in a array of colors including the popular photo finish color scheme.
