PK Bright Eyes Lure
The PK Bright Eyes Lure is a lot easier of a mouthful than saying Pachner & Koller. This antique lure company got its start in 1933 in Chicago Illinois. The stories early beginnings are neat and filled with lore as the two traveled the country pulling a horse trailer selling hooks. It would not be until 1939 that they would solicit their first antique fishing lure.

The Bright Eyes lure itself is 2 3/4″ in length. The antique P&K lure is made of tenite. The lure having two treble hooks to secure it catch. The lure having a tell tale notched head in the shape of a V, and at the front end two forward facing eyes and a single forward line tie.
The lure is found housed in its plain red and black box with white lettering. On the longest side end plates it shows its a product of P&K Corporation. On the end flaps the name of the lure, the model and the color code number. You’ll notice this lure is not in the correct box being that its perch and the box is marked frog. The P&K Bright Eyes shown also shows the blue colored pamphlet that comes along with this antique fishing lure explaining its features functions and benefits.
