Pflueger Pal O Mine Lure 2T
The Pflueger Pal O Mine Lure 2T was first introduced in 1925. This Pflueger lure made in Akron Ohio was given the model series number 5000. This smaller 2T or two treble version measures 3 1/4″ in length although it carries the same model number as the larger version. The forward trebles uses surface type rigging, while the rear with the screw eye. This wooden glass eyed Pal O Mine lure shown below has the first flat version lip that is labeled Pflueger Pal O Mine on its reverse. The lure in shape is a smallish cigar tapering as it goes backwards toward the tail of the lure. The mouth of the antique lure is notched out and inset is the lures only line tie. This 2T model version with glass eyes was made for less than a decade as shown.
The lure would come in over a dozen standard Pflueger lure finishes. The black and white colored below is a code number 64 which is very tough to come by finish. The lure would have come housed in the picturesque green canoe box.
