Moonlight Little Wonder Lure
The Moonlight Little Wonder Lure was first introduced in 1925 & 1926 by the Moonlight Bait Company of Paw Paw, Michigan. The wooden antique fishing lure was produced in 3 different cataloged sizes, a 4th has been found but wasn’t listed as a cataloged lure. Physically the Little Wonder can be identified by the elongated notched mouth. At the back of the mouth against the head of the lure was where the line is affixed.

A series Model 2100, was the smallest and had a trailing single treble hook held on by a simple screw eye from the tail or rear of the bait.
A series Model 2200, often referred to as the Pike Size bait, measure in at 4 1/4″ inches in length. The lure has 2 Trebles and glass instead of painted eyes like its little brethren.
A series Model 2300 was the largest cataloged size, measuring in at 5″ in length. The Musky size featuring glass eyes also having two trebles to secure its prey.
