Moonlight Floating Weedless Lure
The Moonlight Floating Weedless Lure was another in a series of the early Moonlight lure. This version of the self glowing bait red headed bait dates to the early teens. Moonlight, of Paw Paw Michigan used these yellow boxes for a while even though they stated in the early ads that to make sure of your purchase was in a yellow box for authenticity reasons. This Floating bait uses a series of weighted prongs to cover up the lure to help prevent snagging and give the antique fishing lure its weedless properties. Normally the antique fishing lure would come in a box marked #2, however they used the Number 1 Box and stamped weedless on the front of the Box.
As of note this is smaller version of the Floating Bait and employs the use of two trebles inset with a faceted brass screw eye washer. In the gallery is also shown the accompanying paperwork to along with the lure box completes the package.
