Millsite Daily Double Lure
The introductory variation of the Millsite Daily Double Lure is an ingenious antique fishing lure. The lure being able to be fished deep or shallow from the selection of which line tie the angler would attach affecting its depth. This example is the Floater variation of the famous lure, dated from 1941 through 1964, and was a model 800.

This Orange & Black Spotted finish, a series code 34 & measures 3 7/16″” and tops the scales at 3/5oz. The lure has the early Pre WWII, bar rig configuration for its two trebles. This configuration was only made until February of 1942, making it very hard to come by as it was made only for 1 year and 2 months. The lure was originally invented by Jack Withey & Ralph Hall, and was produced by the Millsite Steel & Wire Works /Millsite Tackle Company, at the Howell Michigan Plant.
