Millsite Baby 99R Antique Fishing Lure

This Millsite Baby 99R Antique Fishing Lure is shown in it’s Original Box with scarce Catalog & Paperwork Insert. In 1941, the Millsite Steel & Wire Works introduced its first lure box with a plastic top. This is an excellent example of one of the first runs that came off where that box design was used. It is a complete package that includes the earliest (oval shape) hang tag, a 1939 lure box catalog, a 1941 supplemental paper for the new Millsite Line Dryer, and a new/old store stock Baby 99R Millsite Minnow in White Rib #522 color pattern. Both lure and box are in excellent ++ condition and can be seen on page #82 of Lumpkin’s Millsite Fishing Tackle book.
