Heddon Surface Spook Lure
The Heddon Surface Spook Lure was a model series 210. This version was released in 1974 and was sold through 1983. While it was being sold it did not make the catalog each year and was sporadically shown. This Heddon of Dowagiac lure was made of plastic unlike the early versions made of wood. The antique fishing lure measured 3 1/2 inches in length and weighed 5/8 oz. The lure is very distinctly identifiable by its classic metal collar that it shared with its larger wooden brother, the famous 200 surface and the classic Heddon Slope Nose series antique lures.
We have a 210 surface in on consignment this week, click below to view.
The lure was a surface minnow meant to be fished on top and thus came with another trait the dual tipped weed-less hooks. This classic bait can be found in roughly a dozen colors, give or take, through its short time period
