Heddon River Runt Go Deeper Scoop Lip

This is a Heddon River Runt Go Deeper Scoop Lip Lure. This River Runt spook lure is from the Go Deeper Series, a model series D9110 having the highly collectible Scoop Lip. The scoop lip was made on this series of lures between the years 1939 and 1949. This plastic, or spook lure as its referred to as measures 3 1/2″ in length. The earlier models of course having the gold painted painted eyes, as well as two piece flap rig hardware, holding its 2 Trebles.

Heddon Go Deeper River Runt Spook

I try not to toss around the word rare too often but when a lure was only made from 1940-41 it qualifies. Below in the galley is a example of Bluefish Shore, Heddon’s Code XRX and was only made from 1940-41 on this specific series. There are also other very tough colors shown below Pike Scale Yellow Belly, Red & Yellow, Luminous Black Shore, all these are not commonly seen or found.
