Heddon No Snag River Runt Lure
The Heddon No Snag River Runt Lure is a great little lure. First introduced in 1941 this spook lure has become a favorite among collectors. Unfortunate it wasn’t as big of a hit for fisherman, and was out of the Heddon Line up by 1946.
The antique lure takes on the Heddon of Dowagiac Michigan fishing lure model, number N9110. This classic lure measures 2 1/2″ in length, and tops the scales at roughly 5/8 oz. & initially priced at $1.25
We have a couple No Snags in on Consignment Click below to view.
The lure looses its double treble hook and takes on a weedless leader device and a a protected fixed double hook below to make this antique lure weedless. The lure shown is actually the body of a River Runt Spook Sinker and labeled as such on the belly the only difference being the hardware. The lure shown is a gold eye version, and comes housed in the correct end stamped H.R Brush Box and paper.
The lure shown in the gallery below is in a desirable Glow Worm “GW”, & XRG & XGF or Green Fish Shore color pattern.
