Heddon High Forehead Lure
This Heddon High Forehead Lure in Wood Box is a great example of a classic and one of the earliest Heddon minnow styles. Shown below is a desirable vintage Heddon High Forehead Underwater Minnow antique fishing lure, a wood box model series 100. Being a wooden, glass eyed lure measures roughly 2 3/4″, and weighs in at 2/3 oz. The lure was first introduced in 1904 and made through 1943. Our lure dates to 1905, has Cup rig Hook hangers, Dual Props, and features 3T, and dual belly weight.
The classic Heddon lure is in white finish, Heddon’s color Code 02. Coming in its equally desirable and tough to find correct clean, and stable, type 4 wood box which is clearly marked for its mate.
