H&C Surprise Minnow
This H&C Surprise Minnow is a great and historically significant, over a century old antique fishing lure that has class and character. This classic antique fishing lure was originally introduced in 1913 and is the Intro variation created by Florian Clarkson & Oscar Hummon of Lipsic, Ohio. These were labeled as the H&C Surprise Bait prior to Pflueger acquiring the rights and being first cataloged by Pflueger in 1914. This fine example shown was only available for 1 year in this grommet and screw eye hardware configuration and dates to only 1913. The other feature indicative to the H&C Surprise is the lack of any mouth detail or paint.
