Creek Chub Spoontail
The Creek Chub Spoontail antique lure was made for spin fishing. This Creek Chub lure was first introduced in 1954 and was short lived and phased out of the catalogs by 1956. This small wooden lure had painted eyes, a belly treble attached via screw eye hanger and a trailing treble attached to the metal Spoon Tail, which is just a fancy word for flasher. The lure was a model series 500 and measure 3″ in length and weighed 1/2 ounces. This class bait was only produced in 4 standard color finishes.
We have one in on consignment this week, click below to view.
Creek Chub Pocket Catalog Spoon-Tail Lure
We are proud of our newest fish getter. The spon-tail combines the best qualities of a bait and a spoon. Casts like a spoon with wiggling, flashing tail action. Sinks and runs deep on a slow retrieve, wiggles close to the surface if reeled fast. Murderous on bass, walleye, and muskie.
