Creek Chub Polly Wiggle Lure
The Creek Chub Polly Wiggle Lure is a cool little antique lure. The Polly Wiggle is born of the Creek Chub Bait Company of Garrett Indiana, and was a model series number 1700. This smaller wooden lure measures in at 1 1/4″ in length and was first introduced in 1924. The glass eyed antique lure only lasted less than a decade in the Creek Chub lure line up. he lure was originally made with a weed guard and was meant to be fished with a pork rind.

The lure was only cataloged in two colors, frog spot as shown in the photo gallery and red and white. The antique lure can be found with a few different eye configurations. The antique fishing lure came with the double line, one on the top of the lure and the other affixed off the smallish stamped diving lip. The lure had a small inset belly weight off center to the rear of the lure and a large, for its size, , single trailing hook.
