Creek Chub Husky Plunker Lure
The Creek Chub Husky Plunker Lure was first introduced in 1939. The Creek Chub Bait Company out of Garrett Indiana assigned it a model Number 5800. The antique fishing lure was a larger version of the already successful Plunker lure, and measures in at 4 1/4 inches in length. Made for only 16 years this Heavy duty wire through constructed lure was never shown in any Creek Chub Bait Company lure catalogs. The Husky Plunker would take on a few different body type variations in its 16 years but its concept and intent the same. The Husky Plunker antique fishing lure was made for large freshwater and salt water game fish such as Pike and Musky. The Husky Plunker fishing lure had two over sized treble hooks, both having heavy duty hook hardware to assist in hold its prey while being reeled in.
The Husky Plunker can be found in a bakers dozen or thirteen different period color paint scheme finishes. The lure will be found housed in a over-sized Creek Chub lure box
