Creek Chub Fly Rod Crawdad Lure
The Creek Chub Fly Rod Crawdad Lure was a series model number F50 and F51. This antique fly rod lure was first introduced in to fly fisherman in 1924. The fly lure was a success for fisherman and for the Creek Chub Bait company out of Garrett Indiana. Fashioned after its larger brethren, the Fly Rod Crawdad lure was roughly one inch in length. The lure featured fur claw and feather legs. The antique fly lure was only ever available in two fishing lure color schemes. Tan Crab was model series the F5,1 and the model series F50 was Natural Crab color finish. The lure can be found housed in the typical green and white True to Nature Creek Chub lure boxes.
