Creek Chub Flip Flap Lure
The Creek Chub Flip Flap Lure was first introduced into the catalog line up in 1934. This Creek Chub of Garrett Indiana made lure was a series model number 4400. This wooden, glass eyed antique fishing lure measures 3 1/4″ inch in length. The tell tale or distinctive large nickle flap thats attached to the forward line tie gives the lure its radical dive and flip motion upon retrieve. Later in the life of the lure you could specify or order a copper plated flap instead. The lure resembles a Dingbat lure in appearance but was gone from the Creek Chub antique fishing lure line up by 1941. The antique lure unfortunately only was ever produced in four different catalog color scheme paint finishes.
