Creek Chub Faust Special Lure
The Creek Chub Faust Special Lure looks like the cross between a Plunker lure and a Creek Chub Skipper. Dating from the 1940’s to the 1950’s this special order Creek Chub Bait made its appearance. While being made in Garrett Indiana, its written that its destination was not a sporting goods store but a drugstore. Faust and sometimes written Foust’s Drug Store Chain sold the hybrid and special order antique fishing lure.
The production lure itself is most always found with painted eyes and in the standard Creek Chub finish color palette. The lure has a angled and slanted concave head and in its center, a single forward line tie. The mouth painted red like so many other models. The lure has a rear of the mid line treble hook secured with the traditional cup rigging. While at the rear trails another treble secured with its screw eye.
