Cool Ripple Casting Frog Fishing Lure
This Cool Ripple Casting Frog Fishing Lure is a really neat early fly eater. This specific lure is the Intro Model, and is Circa 1946 a very Tough Version to come by. The Cool Ripple will also become known as the little beast. Made by the Associated Specialties Corporation, Cool Ripple Lures Inc. out of Chicago Illinois. This very first Cool Ripple, and has all 4 arms and legs still attached even has some toes on its hands and feet. There is a single spinner attached at the front with a wire, leader attached to the line tie behind rests a independent red bead.
This use would be later discontinued and they glued white buck-tail to the belly, most of which is gone on this example. This also would segway into using nylon after 1947. These little Cool Ripple Frog Lures are certainly a great addition for the fly eater collectors, and overall a super cool misc lure to add to any type of antique lure collection.
