Bronson 2200N Green Hornet
The Bronson No.2200 “Green Hornet” antique fishing reel first appeared in the 1950 catalog, to meet the growing demand for lightweight tackle. The spinning craze was taking ahold after WWII. Made of green anodized aluminum, with Duo-pawl level-wind, Lashless-style spool A-B-L tension knob on the tail plate and a pillared foot. These would sell up until about 1960, housed in the black Bronson box.
We have a nice one in on consignment this week, click below to view.
From ORCA:This is the No.2200N and was the narrow spool version of the same reel. It was introduced in 1951 and would only sell through 1953. These are a tough find for the collector and should be considered scarce.
