This Bagley 1996 Lure Catalog spans the 1996 and 1997 years. Contained within are not only your standard Lures but the Select line as well. The Bagley select line were of lower quality and make than the traditional Bagley Bait Company fishing lures people had become a custom to. On the bottom of page 5 you see them exclaim the Select line was made of hardwood instead of the traditional Balsa wood. We seem to have come a long way from the Pork Rind Pig Skin we see talked about 41 years earlier in the 1955 Field and Stream article that put Bagley on the map. The catalog states some new Bagley Colors for the year in particular the “New Firetail” models & Nile Perch.
