Atlas Portage Reel
Atlas Portage reel the raised pillar type as shown in the photos are one of the more common raised pillar fly reels I seem to run into. Some marked on the side plate with their trademark rising sun, some not at all. Atlas reels take a front seat as far as availability and commonality of most 40 60 and 80 yard raised pillar fly reels. The one shown here comes with its less common counterpart, the box. This reel is nickle plated and has the Atlas sunrise logo on the side of the reel and is the 40 yard version as noted on the foot of the reel.
