This Abu Record 1500 Antique Reel is one of the early reels produced by the reel mogul from Sweden. This Vintage Abu Record Model 1500 Bait Casting Reel even comes in its correct Box with Paper Insert. The reel touts that it has features never seen before for reels in its price range. 3 Piece Easily detachable construction. The reel has nickel plated frame and spool caps with spiral cut gears with main gear with main gear on bridge of 3 point construction for quieter and smoother running. The reel features a level wind and adjustable screw caps which can be used as drag. Great Reel and Box combo, the bottom of the bottom section of the box has a few tears at seams but is still in good condition.
