Next to good lures a good line is the most important part of a bait caster’s equipment, for on the smoothness. flexibility and strength of the line depend both the pleasure of casting and the taking of the fish. For many years Creek Chub has tried to find a line that we could label perfect. At las t we have succeeded in having produced (or us the strongest, smoothest, longest lasting line ever made for the bait caster. Pound for pound-it is smaller in size and more flexible than any other. Inch for inch-you will find it far superior to others in evenness of braid and freedom from loose ends and other flaws. This line is produced by one of the world’s largest line braiding plants and ls built to our specifications from the highest grade silks obtainable. It will outcast and outwear any other line made at this price.
Below we list the most popular sizes and weights for bait casting. Order a plentiful supply on our recommendation that you can get nothing better. Bear in mind that any braided silk line should have a certain a mount of care. Make sure that there are no broken or rough guides on your rod and that the reel pillars and level winding device a re smooth and tree from nicks. Thoroughly dry your line in the shade as soon as you come in from fishing-never putting it away in a tackle box or reel case damp or allowing It to remain on the r eel overnight while wet. BLACK CHUB–A hard, braided, water-preofed line of exceptional smooth ness and the smallest line made for its strength. Runs freely from t he s pool. Does not become flat in use and is not so tightly braided as to easily kink. Thoroughly water-proofed by the vacuum process with the highest grade compound and is a line that can not be excelled. Made in three weights only a nd put up on spools of fifty yards, two connected. For average use buy two spools and cut the line so as to make three lines. filling in underneath on the r eel spool with old line.

White Chub–A white and black mottled line of the softest Japan silk firmly braided and not waterproofed. Positively the smoothest running line possible to produce. Not being waterproofed, it will, of course, not give the service or wear of the Black Chub but for the particular caster who desires a line of the greatest excellence, possessing all of the qualities desirable in a bait casting line, this is paramount.
