Pflueger Kent Floater Frog Lure Wood Eye

The Pflueger Kent Floater Frog Lure Wood Eye version was released somewhere around 1916. This series of lure carried the same model number of the previous and of the futures Pflueger Frog lures, series 2555. This Pflueger frog has the tell tale raised wooden eyes instead of the more prevalent glass eye, to help date this antique fishing lure. The lure shown in the gallery has the traditional never fail hardware holding the two side treble hooks in plate, the rear hook is attached via screw eye. The wooden frog lure measures roughly 2″ in length and has its name, Kent Floater inscribed on the front prop.

The lure is shown housed in its correctly marked green canoe box and correct Kent Floater paperwork.
