Creek Chub Spinning Deepster Lure
The Creek Chub Spinning Deepster Lure was first introduced in 1953 and only lasted a very limited time. The antique lure was a model series number 9600 made by the Creek Chub Bait Company of Garret Indiana. This small deep diving plug received its name due to the large diving lip it possessed and it light weight causing it to make deep dives and erratic moves. This small wooden antique fishing lure on ever had painted eyes and its single line tie attached to the diving lip. The antique lure had two treble hooks to secure its catch. The Deepster lure was available in five different color scheme finishes but has been found in uncatalogued colors as well.
