Creek Chub Champ Lure

The Creek Chub Champ Lure was first introduced in 1936. This antique metal lure was Creek Chub of Garrett Indiana model series number S30. The model number end would change to match the color of the lure for example a green scale one would be S39. This odd metal lure only lasted roughly 8 years in the Creek Chub antique lure line up. The lure besides be available in different colors also was available in a Musky and Salt Water Sizes. This version was 3 1/4″ in length and had stamped and painted eyes. The metal fishing lure has a single line tie between the eyes, and had two treble hooks attached to catch its prey.

The smallest version Champ antique lure shown below in the gallery was available in 6 different colors.
