Anderson Minnow Lure

The Anderson Minnow Lure is a fun miscellaneous bait and falls in the spring loaded category. This lure first made in 1949 by the Anderson Bait Company out of Chicago, Illinois. The lure was offered up in frog, perch or red head paint scheme finishes. The hook would lock into place on this lure and when a fish struck it , it would release the hook. The wooden lure measures 3 5/8″ in length has a forward line tie that is affix to a front plate screwed into the lure. The single hook is secured to the front plate as well. The box states, “It Floats It Dives Its Weedless, Throw me in a Lilly pad and Ill come back with a Prize”.
